Here’s the scoop on the fam this week:
- Cade got his braces back on and continues to have tons of fun with his friends. He has also been hanging out with lots of girls on a regular basis :))
- Luke continues weekly golf lessons with Gavin. They are taking from a golf pro. Luke rode in his last mountain bike race of the season in vernal this weekend. He is hilarious and is getting better. He had a huge crash during a training ride with some pretty big gashes and scrapes but don’t worry he is getting tougher and hopped right back up hehe
- Davis continues to kick butt in physical therapy. He now can walk with out crutches in the house and he will be able to fully walk without crutches on September 21st. They want him to walk for 2 weeks prior to his next surgery. Surgery is scheduled for October 5th. Herriman beat Copperhills this past Friday 56 to 0. They are preparing for East this week.
- Brittea “signed” with Natalie Williams for another year and is also playing on the Herriman Basketball Team. She is loving Junior High and is just like her brothers...she sticks up for all those who are getting bullied especially her best friends and cousin.
- Sam also raced in Vernal this weekend and did super awesome! Her was number 30 out of 100 to finish for his age group. The crazy part is he rode the second lap without a seat HAHA (it totally got bent). I will send you pics!
- James has been working like crazy on a school event called the Mascot Bowl for his sports marketing class. The event was last night at Skyridge. It was SO cool. You’ll have to ask him about it. The had 30 mascots come and play football against the Lehi and Skyridge little league football teams. They had the Jazz Bear, Swoosh (UofU), Cosmo (BYU), Rocky (Denver Nuggets), Coyote (Spurs), Chuck (LA Clippers), Rumble (OKC Thunder), Benny (Bulls), Moondog (Cavaliers), Leo (RSL), Grizbee (Grizzlies), Bumble (Bee’s), Big Blue (Utah State), Waldo (Weber State), Thor (SUU) and Willy (UVU). The event was a fundraiser to provide Christmas to Children in need. So FUN and such an INCREDIBLE cause! And James was a bouncer for all the celebrities :))
Josh turned 40 last Wednesday. We went to Lake Powell with Maurie (Kyle), Emily (Rob) and Sherri for 4 days. You can only imagine the amount of hysterical laughter coming from us ladies. We cliff jumped, surfed, swam and explored. Maurie and Kyles new boat is SO amazing. Its the fanciest boat I have ever been on in my life. I think we should take you to Lake Powell when you get home. We will rent a houseboat and have the Jensens or Vances bring their boats. Lake Powell definitely has my heart and I guarantee it would end up being your favorite place on earth :))
Collin Jensens Homecoming was on Sunday. I will try and get a copy of his talk. He did an amazing job!
